01 — About
Cho Mi-yeon was born on January 31, 1997, in Incheon, South Korea. Before the stage lights found her, she spent around five years training at YG Entertainment — time that helped shape the warm, clear voice fans know today. In 2017 she joined Cube Entertainment, and on May 2, 2018, she debuted as the main vocalist of (G)I-DLE with “LATATA.”
In April 2022 she stepped into her own spotlight with the solo EP “MY” and its dreamy title track “Drive.” Along the way she has voiced Ahri in K/DA, hosted M Countdown for nearly three years, led her own web dramas, and lent her voice to some of K-drama’s best-loved soundtracks. In November 2025 she returned with her second EP, “MY, Lover” — her first solo comeback in three and a half years — and in August 2026 she made her Japanese debut with the single “Run Away.”
From arena stages with i-dle to quiet OST ballads, she is the kind of artist you keep on repeat.

Her first solo comeback in three and a half years — seven tracks of heartfelt, grown-up pop. The title track “Say My Name” led the release, following the pre-release single “Reno” (feat. Colde).
Her solo debut — six songs of bright, effortless charm, led by the title track “Drive”. It peaked at No. 4 on the Gaon weekly album chart.
Her first Japanese release — trading the soft R&B-pop of her Korean solo work for live guitar and a bigger, band-driven sound.
